‘Mind’s Eye’ is track 5 on Disc Two (‘Gandalf’s Garden’)

“According to the press releases of the era, Ramases And Selket were the re-incarnation of a 3000-year-old Egyptian pharaoh and one of his 1,200 wives/concubines. However, Ramases was better know in his hometown of Sheffield as central heating salesman and former Army PT instructor Michael Raphael. After a chance meeting with local pop star Dave Berry, he decided that the music industry was the most natural medium in which to gain publicity for his claims. Crazy One - scan supplied by David Tibet, February 2003 With his wife re-christened Selket, he released Crazy One b/w Mind’s Eye, shamelessly built round Ram’s exotic, pseudo-Arabian image. A couple of further singles followed before Ramases signed to Vertigo in 1971 to make the Space Hymns album with the band that became 10cc. A second mystical album, Glass Top Coffin, emerged in 1975, but Ramases–or rap DJ Subrock, as he was by then known, sadly took his own life in the early 1990s.”
